House Caka

House Caka is shaped through a deliberate reading of Indonesian architecture, where strong sun, heavy rain, and still air move closely with daily life.

The building sits at the center of the site within a housing neighborhood. This placement supports continuous cross ventilation, keeping the interior cool under the intensity of tropical heat.

Openings are placed with intention, directing light and views inward. The house draws its focus toward its own interior domain, where space is experienced through layers—thresholds, shifts in scale, and subtle transitions of light that unfold gradually throughout the day.

Material expression follows the same discipline. Surfaces carry a quiet presence. The architecture remains calm, attentive, and precise—holding life within a controlled and enduring atmosphere.
